“Heartbeat for Japan” A Taiko Benefit Concert

Mirai Daiko

Denver’s  Japanese Arts Community  is coming together to raise funds for the survivors of the earth quake and tsunami in japan.  This is a wonderful coming together to support families in Japan, and bring the community together to support world healing and peace.  Their organizers write:

This performance will feature our very own taiko groups of Colorado (Denver Taiko, Mirai Daiko, Taiko with Toni) and we have invited some special guests to join us. There are no tickets being sold because this is a “Give What You Can” event that you bring with you to the door. Please bring cash or checks ONLY!! We will be collecting the donations at the door and at intermission.

100% of the proceeds will go to the Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund, a recognized non-profit 501(c)3 and tax-deductible, that will help those directly affected by the quake.

The benefit concert will be a night of powerful and exquisite Japanese culture sharing in which we honor our friends and family in Japan. The event is family oriented as well. We hope to see you there!!
