| Groupo Andabo performs a dance for Obatala. The piece appears based on a story where Ogun, the Orisha of Iron was tormenting an old man in the streets. Orisha Shango intervened to save the stricken Orisha. The old man transformed into two beings: Babaluaiye, who represents the sick and the stricken and Orisha Oko, an aspect of Obatala. Both thank and blessed shango for his assistance and blessed him with the power of healing arts. |
